About Me

Hello! I'm Dhvani, an enthusiastic undergraduate at the University of Toronto with a deep interest in Computer Science. I'm passionate about technology and love diving into coding challenges and exploring new developments in the field. Currently, I'm actively searching for internships that will allow me to apply my skills in a real-world setting, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable industry experience.

Education

As a student pursuing a major in Computer Science at the University of Toronto I have deepened my technical skills. The rigorous coursework and diverse learning experiences have strengthened my problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, preparing me to tackle complex challenges in the field of Computer Science. I'm excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to applying my skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the tech world.

Projects

Check out my creations.

  • Code Chronicles - Wizards Quest

A game which aims to make the learning process more engaging for programmers by combining elements of education, gaming and creativity. The game reinforces programming concepts such as polymorphism, object-oriented-programming and inheritance while simultaneously providing a compelling narrative for players.

  • Audio Modification Program

Two C programs that manipulate sounds in .wav files. Remvocals removes vocals from stereo PCM sound files, and AddEcho adds echo to mono sound files.

  • File Compression & Decompression Program

A Python-based project that compresses and decompresses files using Huffman coding. It efficiently reduces file sizes by encoding data based on character frequencies and allows accurate reconstruction of the original file during decompression.

  • TreeMap Visualizer

An interactive and dynamic tool for visualizing and managing files within a directory. This Python-based application, built with Pygame, provides a real-time TreeMap representation of file sizes, allowing users to add, delete, copy, and duplicate files directly through the interface.
